Control Freakness and Prospecting
I would consider myself a control freak. Or more politically correct speaking, I’m very “particular” on how certain things should be.
BUT
There are 3 things I can’t control:
1. The weather.
2. The economy
3. Other peoples and companies decision making process
There are 2 main sales related factors that I can control:
1. Improving my sales and communication skills each and every day.
2. The number of sales calls, emails, and touches I make to potential prospects.
THAT’S IT!
The more sales calls I make, the larger my funnel will be, and the greater my sales success will be.
So I don’t worry about what’s beyond my control. I simply can increase the number of calls I make to put myself in a better position to succeed.
